I repaired it with a 20c bolt and $2 plastic knob purchased from the hardware store.

+I made a replacement pin out of a 1/4 x 1.5" hex-head bolt. This allows me to use a plastic knob with a 1/4" thread purchased from the hardware store as a nice handle. The metal cam used in the locking mechanism has a hex-shape recess in it which the pin needs to match in order to properly turn the cam. I filed down the hex head of the 1/4"x1.5" bolt so that it would fit.

+A 1/4" threaded knob is screwed onto the bolt. In order to lock the knob onto the bolt, I drilled a 1.5mm hole all the way through both the knob and bolt and inserted a short piece of steel wire.
